Solving problems with the installation of .NET Framework 3.5 on Windows 8 on the network running WSUS

Sometimes there are situations when Windows 8 users must install the .NET Framework 3.5 - most often it is necessary to ensure the performance of some relatively old programs. In most cases it takes place without problems. Recently, however, a situation - this framework refused to be installed on the computer in the domain with AD network configured local update server WSUS.

In the usual case, the installation of the above framework is provided by the operating system and, in fact, is a component of a switch, disabled by default.

After that the operating system is connected to the update server, downloads the necessary files and installs the components.

Solution
